// about
Hi, I'm Thalia 👋
I spent the early part of my career building: hardware at Intel, cloud services at Oracle, data infrastructure at Glovo. There's something deeply satisfying about making a system work.
But somewhere along the way, I started writing. Just explaining and documenting how things worked for the people around me. And I found something engineering rarely gave me: direct impact. Someone reads what you wrote, learns from it, comments, and even takes the time to thank you. That feedback loop stays with you.
At Airbyte, I helped build a content program that grew to tens of thousands of readers by writing things the data engineering community genuinely cared about. Multiple pieces reached the front page of Hacker News. At DataCamp, I published hundreds of technical articles, managed freelance writers, built AI engineering courses, and designed AI-powered content workflows my team used every day.
That work, and the audience I'd been building, led to an invitation from LinkedIn Learning to create two data engineering courses. To date, 50,000+ people have taken my courses and 7,500+ follow my work on LinkedIn. Engineers, developers, and practitioners who found something I created and shared useful.
Now I run Parallel Content, an agency for developer tool companies to publish content that technical audiences actually trust.
